Vehicle counts and intercept surveys are being conducted by RRC Associated at several river access points along the Upper Colorado River. Current SG Member Projects
Gore Canyon Whitewater Park
Construction on the whitewater park at the Pumphouse recreation site is now complete. The feature consists of engineer-designed boulders and block-like concrete objects placed across the stream channel. The ribbon cutting ceremony took place on July 13, 2015. 
Fish Population Surveys
Every year (water levels permitting) fishery biologists from Colorado Parks and Wildlife survey fish populations along the Upper Colorado River. The collected data is used to monitor fish population trends, evaluate the effectiveness of management decisions, and establish management goals. |
